On 19 June 2024, the Richmond Board of Education approved the 2025/2026 Five-Year Capital Plan for submission by the Ministry of Education & Child Care by 30 June 2024. The plan consists of 50 projects, including seismic mitigation, school expansion, building envelope, major ventilation, electrical, plumbing, lighting and playground upgrades, new childcare facilties, and bus replacements valued at over $1.055 Billion.
